COVID-19 Update

Hi Folks,

The cancellations and postponements have been unfolding daily, as is to be expected. Rather than itemise all of these, you can take it that everything is off for the foreseeable future and I will post here as and when reschedules of interest are announced.

As every swimming complex in the country is now closed, please be vigilant in the exercise regimes you take up in their stead. As in be respectful and cautious with the sea and don’t go on excessive runs or cycles if you are feeling under the weather. Exercise can play havoc with your immune system at the best of times.

Kind regards

Make Merry in Munster

For now here is the attached documentation.

Ring in the new (togs)

Dear Swimmer,

Its December 31st as I write. Some of you will be ageing up at midnight. Some of you will be in bed because you will be up at 5:30 for training. Some of you will be repenting the gastric onslaught that was Christmas and some of you will be pencilling in schedules for Q1 2020 (namely Sliabh Beagh, Sundays Well, Ennis and Limerick). Some of you will be proposing to your partners (that they join you in Budapest) and some of you will be preparing to lead a merry dance with your open sea handicap for the Liffey. Some of you will be putting together your results for the 2019 Decathlon and some of you will just be looking forward to your next swim.

Who ever and where ever you are, Happy New Year 2020 . . .
